    In this chapter of Nikki Maxwell's life in "Dork Diaries", the holidays are coming and she's hoping she'll get a phone, her Aunt Mable will FINALLY seem to like her, and after hearing some news in gym class, how to skate.    the judge knows it. Plus, the local pet adoption center, Fuzzy Friends, is at risk of closing! Nikki wants to skate for them to help keep them open, but Mackenzie is going around bragging
     about how SHE already got the spot. Nikki comes to the adoption center and finds out something shocking but might just be the best news she's got yet, and then hears a tragic story about how one of the volunteers parents died and has to stay with their other family. The story is heart breaking, but the victim is even more! Rachel Renee Russel has again made another great book for her series "Dork Diaries". 5 stars!
