In this currently newest "Dork Diaries" series book, Nikki Maxwell's life is starting to become even more insane when she gets her own TV series depicting her for life and everywhere she goes. And of course, her arch enemy, Mackenzie Hollister, is planning on taking advantage of it. Things with Nikki and Brandon become awkward when Mackenzie announces that they are beginning to have friendship problems and that it's tearing their band (Actually, I'm Really Not Sure Yet) apart. She has to work on a project with Brandon so he can submit an essay to see if he qualifies her a scholarship at the school but after the big fake announcement by Mackenzie, Nikki's Super busy schedule, and the camera crew that seems to know what she's doing and where she is, she barely has time to blink! And the director decides it would be an Awesome idea to film one episode of her TV series "Makings of a Pop Princess" at her house. To which Nikki responds "NNNOOOOOO!!!!!!" but said it only in her head so no one could hear it but her. But she ends up scheming until she figures out the perfect way to get out of it. I Diffidently recommend this book and the whole "Dork Diaries" series to any girl who believes in letting out her "inner dork". If you're going to get books from the "Dork Diaries" series from the library, I recommend reserving them. My local libraries had almost 20 or 30 of these books but so many people were checking them out I had to reserve one!
